Satisfy your craving with these delicious Burger Bowls made with ground beef, fresh veggies, and a fantastic burger sauce. This meal combines cooked beef seasoned with cajun spices, crispy bacon, and an array of toppings served over a bed of lettuce. Don't forget the shoestring fries for a complete experience!
Pour the oil into a pot and let it get hot. Once hot, add in the ground beef, season with cajun seasoning and cook on medium heat until fully browned. Drain & set aside.
While that cooks, place the bacon on a wire rack lined baking sheet & into a cold oven. Turn to 400°F & bake til crispy.
Wash all the veggies! Slice the lettuce, halve the tomatoes, shred the cheese, & finely dice the onion.
Assemble everything in a bowl & serve.
For the Burger Sauce, combine mayo, ketchup, creole mustard, sweet relish, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and hot sauce to taste in a bowl. Use immediately or refrigerate for about a half hour before serving.
For the Shoestring Fries, peel or don’t peel the potatoes (to each their own!), then slice them lengthwise into thinner pieces using a mandolin.
Make stacks of about 3-4 slices and cut them lengthwise into fries. Rinse with cold water & place into an ice bath for about 30 minutes.
Preheat oil to about 350°F. Drain fries, pat dry, and fry in batches for 3-5 minutes until browned, stirring often. Drain on a wire rack & season with salt while still hot.
